We did these super cute cupcakes for a birthday party last week. They had zebra striped paper cups and hot pink and lime green balls on top of the vanilla icing. We packed them in our super sublime cupcake boxes with inserts that hold each cupcake in place... no messy travels!!
Are those boxes with inserts made from corn too?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your question. No, these boxes and inserts are made from unbleached natural paperboard which use typically 25-30% less fiber than other box materials. Compared to other
ReplyDeletevirgin fiber products, that's 25-30% fewer trees to produce the same amount of boxes. Compared to bleached
paperboard, it is better for the environment because strong solvents are not used to bleach the pulp. Also,
the fiber for these boxes comes from Sustainable Forestry Initiativ lumber - lumber
collected and reforested utilizing environmentally friendly practices.
