We did this ultra cute and stylish cake for a 10 year old's birthday today. She designed the cake herself, and I have to say, that girl has an eye for design! Lucy knew exactly what she wanted: black tiger stripes, a hot pink heart with her monogram, blue fondant balls around the base and some flowers on top to tie it all together. We added some rhinestones to her bouquet for a bit of "bling" and dusted the top with gold disco dust. 
We did this lovely "Sweethearts" cake for a birthday party this past weekend. It features a pearl luster finish over the entire cake, heart appliques, and rhinestones.
