SUGAR FREE DESSERTS AT SUBLIME!!!!

I am so thrilled to announce that Sublime Bakery will begin offering Sugar-Free desserts as of February 10th. Just in time for Valentine's Day, we'll include 2 Sugar-Free items on our special order menu for that holiday. The full Sugar-Free menu will go into affect on February 17th.
Our Sugar-Free baked goods will be all natural, sweetened with Organic Agave Nectar, and using whole grain flours instead of white flour. These items will not only be sugar free, but they will also have low net-carbs, making them ideal for those following low-carb diets. Again, NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, NO WHITE FLOUR!! These items will be baked from scratch each day. It doesn't get any fresher than that. To start with, Sugar-Free goodies will be special order only. We expect to begin carrying Sugar-Free items in our pastry case for walk in purchase within several weeks.

SUGAR FREE VANILLA COOKIES $9/bag of 8
A perfect treat any time of day. Vegan too.

SUGAR FREE ULTIMATE BROWNIES $30/dz
Fudgy and moist, for chocolate lovers only. 1 dozen minimum.

SUGAR FREE WILD ORGANIC BLUEBERRY PIE $30
Old-fashioned taste in a healthier package. Vegan too.

50th Anniversary Cake

A Golden Anniversary is an occasion worthy of celebration. We did this buttercream iced cake this past weekend for a 50th anniversary. Chocolate fondant applied pieces, and a "painted" golden bow with drapey ribbon completed the elegant but fun design. Inside, two tiers of Brown Sugar Vanilla Cake layered with Vanilla Buttercream and 3 kinds of fresh Berries, one tier of our Ancho-Chocolate-Cinnamon combination.

Retirement Cake



This week saw our very first retirement cake. Ray's wife ordered a buttercream iced cake with a personalized "Memo" and a 3-D sugar paste computer and keyboard with the company logo on the screen.

Lucy is 10 Today!

We did this ultra cute and stylish cake for a 10 year old's birthday today. She designed the cake herself, and I have to say, that girl has an eye for design! Lucy knew exactly what she wanted: black tiger stripes, a hot pink heart with her monogram, blue fondant balls around the base and some flowers on top to tie it all together. We added some rhinestones to her bouquet for a bit of "bling" and dusted the top with gold disco dust.

Taylor's Cupcake Cake

We did this totally adorable "Cupcake" cake for a 1st birthday recently. It's a 4 inch round cake that we tapered into a cupcake shape, then we just piped on the buttercream and added fondant accents, sparkling sugar and disco dust.

Bride Wars and The Knot Event

The Knot and Bride Wars teamed up recently to host early showings of the Kate Hudson/Anne Hathaway movie in several major cities, with "Knot" brides as guests. We were asked to do these cookie favors for the goodie bags. We did hearts, wedding cakes and wedding dresses. My favorite were the dresses which we did in several different styles, adding sugar pearls and piped rosettes along with sparkling crystal sugar and "painted fabric" to give each one a unique look. Each favor was finished off with a wired satin ribbon and gift card.

Stack of Presents Cake

This "Stack of Presents" cake design is a favorite and it's very versatile. Change up the colors and trims and it is suitable for just about any occasion. This one was for a 40th birthday.



17th Birthday Cake

We did this super cute 2-tier cake for a birthday recently. Inside is our Brown Sugar Vanilla Cake filled with Raspberry Preserves and Vanilla Buttercream.
